Rosa Giron’s multi-media work on paper combines figures and text with bold outlines to produce Basquiat-like visions of Giron’s personal life. Rosa renders bold, colorful portraits of her family in layers with graphic text: “Rosa,” “Mamma”, “Candy,” and “Tavo.”
